Terms
The deal between us
These are the rules a purchase from Nafis runs on. We have tried to write them in plain language rather than in the kind only a lawyer enjoys.
Last rewritten: August 2026
The short version
- Prices are in Toman, and the price you saw when you ordered is the price you pay.
- No dye, no additives, and the grade printed on the tin is the grade inside it.
- You have 7 days after delivery to return an unopened package.
- If what arrived is not what you ordered, the cost of putting it right is ours.
Orders and prices
Prices are in Toman and can change — saffron is a seasonal crop and its market does not sit still. But the price shown when you placed the order is the price charged; a later change does not reach an order already placed.
An order becomes firm when you receive our confirmation, not the moment you press the button. That gap is where we check stock and the address.
If we have to cancel an order — no stock, an incomplete address, an obvious pricing error — you hear about it first and the full amount goes back.
Payment
Payment happens inside the bank's gateway. We neither see nor store your card number; what reaches us is the bank's confirmation.
If money leaves your account without an order being created, the bank reverses it automatically. That usually takes up to 72 hours and is out of our hands — if it takes longer, tell us and we will chase it.
Shipping and delivery
Orders ship from Mashhad. Delivery time depends on where they are going: 1–2 working days for Tehran, 2–3 for provincial capitals, 3–5 for other cities, and 7–14 working days internationally.
Standard shipping is free on orders over 500,000 Toman. Full details and express rates are on the shipping page.
Open the parcel in front of the courier. If it is damaged or the contents do not match the order, get it recorded there and then — a claim backed by that record is far simpler.
Returns and cancellations
You have 7 days from delivery to request a return, provided the original packaging is unopened and the seal is intact. Saffron is food; once a seal is broken it cannot be sold to anyone else.
If the mistake was ours — wrong item, short weight, damage in transit — the return costs nothing and a replacement goes out free.
The full conditions, including what a return does not cover, are on the returns page.
Quality and authenticity
What we sell is real saffron: no food colouring and nothing added to make up the weight. The grade on the tin — Negin, Sargol, Pushal or Dasteh — is the grade inside it; Pushal and Dasteh carry style by definition, which is stated on the label and priced accordingly.
Have it tested. If the result does not match what we claimed, send the package back and take the full amount. That is not a courtesy — it is the whole basis of the business.
Colour, aroma and colouring strength vary a little between harvests. That is what a natural crop does, not a fault in the batch.
The words and pictures here
The photography, copy, design and the Nafis name belong to us, and commercial use of them needs written permission.
Referring to us in a review or a write-up is welcome — link to us and name us, that is entirely fine.
How far we stand behind it
Our responsibility is the order you placed: delivered, intact, and matching its description. If it does not arrive or does not match, you get your money back.
Saffron is a spice, not a medicine. Anything you read about its properties on our blog is general interest and does not replace medical advice.
We write product details carefully, but if you spot something wrong, tell us and we will correct it; an obvious error in price or specification leaves either side free to cancel.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
If a dispute comes up, call us first — in practice almost everything is settled that way. Anything that is not will be heard by the competent courts of Iran.
A question before you buy?
Ask about grade, dose, storage or shipping. The answer comes from someone who has actually sorted the threads.
